When there are no problems, there is no growth, so you want those problems. We overcome challenges on the daily, by problem solving and then moving on to the next– one puzzle at a time. The excitement of what is to come keeps me going and wanting more. The daily challenge of running and growing this business is what gets me excited and out of the bed in the morning. If I can’t pick up my daughters from school every day this week, I’ll pick them up three days this week and 5 days next week. The key to achieving balance is always keeping it in the forefront of your mind and on your running to do list so it is never lost. The balance is still there, but it’s not the same each day. ![]() Once the business started to grow, there have been times where balance hasn’t come in the day-to-day, but instead it comes week-to-week – I’ll have to work a little more one day in order to be home with family the next day. For the first decade of this journey, the balance was very defined and easy to achieve.
